These very large duck eggs are from Pekin Ducks adopted to our farm. The flock has not gone through the process of humane certification but spends their day free ranging and are kept in a pen at night. Duck eggs are unctuous and rich. They can be used in place of chicken eggs in recipes or are delicious fried up for breakfast. Pekin ducks are the duck that inspired the cartoon Donald Duck’s look. Ducks lay eggs seasonally.
